Good find! That makes sense, it looked too well made to be a commercial novelty christmas decoration. The sculpture section of that site has a ton of other tree toppers too. This is probably the coolest personal website I’ve seen in ages.
I kinda like that people that decided to bring home the gigantic skeleton man end up leaving it up all year as they have no way to store it. Home Depot is once again the enemy of good.
House a few street from me has one up all year, it is decorated for many holidays and observances. Santa Hat, valentines heart, st Patrick’s hat and leprechaun beard, Bunny ears…
Well, some people dress them up for different holidays (a green outfit for St Patrick’s Day, a Santa Hat for Xmas, etc), but I get what you mean. Maybe they are just going for realism! It isn’t like skeletons, regardless of size, tend to get up and move around.
Home Depot now sells what they’re calling the world’s largest plastic tote.
The sign specifically calls out that it fits a giant skelly man.

Yeah, giant skeletons is one of the things that makes life worth living.
The seasonal skelly is awesome though.
