    On your first post, you implied that the word “manner” was derived from “man” and that one could change that part of the word with “woman”.

    I thought that it may not be true and looked for its etymology and, lo and behold, manner is actually derived from “manus” (hand).

    I do not imply that your comment is wrong, I just wanted to shed some light on it.
