If you are in desperate need of a laptop, you can at least check out the refurb section. I know dell tends to have a good refurb section, its where I got my laptop, its where I got my monitor too. dirt cheap compared to the same models as retail, and the only difference was the box they came in.
The problem is that its refurbished stuff, so the stock is limited and can change frequently. today might be shit, tomorrow there might be a great gaming laptop with a cosmetic flaw that reduces the price by 40%
