Right? Seems like “gf who’s not insecure about her body” and “bf who loves her body” would just be a straight upgrade to the situation.
Meh. Telling her she’s beautiful and her never accepting herself feels sysiphean.
At some extreme it gets to feel kind of objectifying too, like you’re a source of validation and anything about you that might conflict with that role even a little is a problem
