OP guzzles half a bottle of whiskey and ends up partially dysfunctional. Or OP overdoses on beer and passes out. OP better consider tee-totaling.

Alcohol is definitely a drug, and according to the WHO even small amounts are dangerous for your health. By his own admission the poster is well beyond manageable amounts.

Oh, trusting the WHO? You should probably read up on some of the psuedo-science they peddle.

Is alcohol good for us? Depends on how you define that.

But in the end, everything you’ve said has fuck all to do with OPs question, you just wanted to get on your high horse, preach and condemn.

Tell me again how you’re perfect?

Two beers (as stated in their post and the comments) is overdosing? Maybe for a four year old. But two beers shouldn’t get an adult anywhere near proper OD levels.

Thinking outside the box, you might be having a carb crash. Beer is carb-heavy, while whiskey is carb-free.

Alcohol of any kind is a carb, a fairly simple one at that.

But there’s definitely more volume to a beer, and I’m pretty confident it’s carb count is way higher.

There’s also other things in beer, while whiskey is nearly all alcohol and water.

Do you have a source to support that statement? Everything I can find, including the American Diabetes Association and Teladoc, says otherwise.

I get that your body processes alcohol similar to fructose, but that doesn’t make it a carb.
