    Sarah Schroeder, a UC Riverside doctoral student in entomology, hopes that naming these insects after the singer will bring attention to the insects themselves and insect conservation more generally.

      It’s a tree native to Australian. In reality it looks nothing like an Oak, but rather has needle like leaves (think pine, but not quite the same).
