I’ll start with this creepy, uncanny, bizarre take on Chernobyl. It looks like a skeleton inside that vehicle, right?

About 10 years ago I was walking in lower Manhattan and traffic was bad. I kept up with a Google maps car for about 10 blocks. So for about a year I was in 10 consecutive blocks of street view, always in about the same place. Should have screenshotted it. Sadly it’s long gone now.

    it looks like general grievous.

also the divers seeing the google car and chasing after it with pitchforks will never not be funny to me.

I remember Google Touring around somewhere - The Canary Islands, possibly - where the person doing the street view images was doing it by holding the camera in their hand with it stuck out the window. :)

I found a shot of my hubby and I sunbathing (in our birthday suits) in our own backyard, luckily enough the google algorithm put black boxes over our private parts! That was about ten years ago, we have separated since, I asked google to take the photo down, as my new boyfriend got a bit jealous (he is a bit modest in the trousers dept) which took ages since they couldn’t find the address (the next town over has the same street, it got confusing). He’s such a pr*ck, (my ex, not the current one) good riddance to bad rubbish.

For many years my sister’s van could be seen parked in four different towns. One was our parent’s house, two were places where she lived, the last one was the real coincidence, a place where she went on a road trip.

Maybe the weird part is how long it took to get any of those pictures updated.

not super interesting but long ago. Like in the late aughts. I guess street view vehicles were only setup to capture one direction or something and I moved my car for street cleaning and so for a time it appeared on both sides of the street.

There’s some sort of a dog in the top right of the window on the right if you’re talking about optical illusions but I can’t find a skeleton

I can see my uncle walking on the sidewalk in the town where he lives. His face is blurred and the clothes are generic but he has a certain way of walking that apparently gets caught on still pictures.
