There are several times in my life where I have worked against my own interest. This would be for things people think of as morality but in my own thought patterns Im not sure if that exactly fits. I think it had a big impact on many folks involved. Mostly they are just surprised someone would actually do that and I think, or maybe its more hope, that it caused some introspection.
