The best example I can think of is olives. She loves olives, and I have absolutely no strong feelings about olives. So independent of her I would eat any olives that came with my dish, but when we’re eating together I’ll pick out the olives and give them to her because I get more joy secondhand when she has them than I would first-hand if I did
