    Finland’s approach to defence and security is also rooted in historical experience. Of the 100,000 Nordic citizens who died in the World War Two, 90% were from Finland. They died in the so-called Winter War of 1939-40 against the Soviet Union. This tiny country repelled an attack by its giant neighbour and retained its independence.

    Oh yeah great coherence there. 90,000 Finns died in WW2, but only in the Winter War in 39/40. What happened then, didn’t World War 2 go much longer? What did Finland do afte that? big-honk
