most people arnt that honest, alot of them that are ignorant about it and they dont think it affects them if they ignore it(so they think it will get them into arguments, so they ignore it as much as possible). the “apoliticals” are conservatives though, i suspect the even ignorant ones lean conservatives it comes time to vote, because they are less informed.
