    Plagiarism is lying and quite a few reputable academics are raising the alarm.

    When asked to identify other people who took part in these efforts, Arday said he had signed NDAs preventing him from disclosing that information.

    Honestly who would believe this? The charities would have the receipts and he could simply direct any inquiries to them.

    The Guardian also asked Arday about his claim to have run 600 miles in six days

    I suppose counting isn’t a requirement for professors at Cambridge.

    He appears to be a compulsive liar and I have to wonder how he wormed his way into such a prominent position in academia which is meant to be heavily scrutinised.

      Oh it gets worse! He tried to use police to shut down legitimate journalist inquiry!

      Separately, the Metropolitan Police confirmed it had investigated a journalist over an allegation of harassment after he emailed questions to Arday, before concluding no offence had been committed.
