For everyone in this thread, just go for it. Its best if you have some common interest together. Lets say… you go to a photography club. See someone there who you think would work well with you? Just go for it. Youll have to find out one way or another. And if you do it in a polite way theres no shame. People should normalize reporting more sexual harrasment but theres also the other side where people overreact. Thats why you should always go out with a friend, and this is true in general even if youre not trying to get a date. Am i married? No, so my advice isnt perfect lol, but i dont think most people instantly think of marriage. Thats another thing, it sounds bad but dont get attached too much. Of course of youre already in a relationship thats different but if you spend weeks or months plotting how youre gonna ask someone out its probably a lost cause because they probably didnt invest tens of hours of mental processing into you while you have. You have to start from equal footing. Well thats my two cents, also this is all general advice for any gender, sexuality, etc, theres no secret to men or women, were all people. When you look at someone dont see their gender but what theyre interested in. They dont like cars or makeup cause theyre men or women, they like them cause they like those things.
