These days, it seems that I am feeling love again and getting more nuanced on love. I just wondered if people here once had a life outside screen and fall in love with someone. When you met your first love for the first time in your life, how did you meet them? Were you classmates, co-workers, neighbours, or what? I was in 7th grade when I can say that I felt that for my female classmates. I could not tell them cuz they were already interested in another guy. I was a very weird person so they were more annoyed with me but never knew what I felt for them. Although they forgave me and we remained classmates and they are doing fine (one is posting about her university life on Insta, another one is anonymous), but yeah this experience just makes me realize that how much time has passed.
I was best friends with his sister. I met him when I was in middle school but I didn’t fall for him until high school. I was staying the night at my best friends house and she went to sleep early. He stayed up with me and we talked all night.
It would still be 3 years before we dated. He was in a toxic relationship with a girl who threatened to kill herself every time he wanted to leave. He never cheated though. He finally left her and his sister and I were no longer very close.
We just happened to run into each other when we were both at a retail store. He gave me his new number. I text him shortly after. He came over and we started dating that night. We were together about 2 years. We were young and both had a lot of growing to do.
I used to keep in contact with him but, his wife got pissed. I told him that’s fine, if he was unwilling to stand up for himself again (his wife is similar to his ex) that that was his choice. I wasn’t going to step on his marriage.
Still occasionally talk to his sister but, haven’t talked to him in 10+ years.
