I broke my fucking back and the (US) university medical center doctor only gave me ibuprofen. And that was after she called me a liar and refused to take an xray. I really should have sued the shit out of them.
I thought the american healthsystems policy would be to give you enough opiates to get you addicted, then send you home with a 100k+ bill, sounds like you got off easy
Once when I went to the school health center for anti-diarrhea meds they told me they couldn’t give it to me without me seeing the doctor first, and the soonest appointment was in a few hours.
They told me I had to make an appointment… for diarrhea. Motherfucker, what???
The nurse doesn’t want to deal with all that, so they just call ICE and get the student deported or shot
