It would maybe be like a printed announcement posted at town square that ends with a prayer or Bible verse. You can just stop reading when you get to the end of the announcement, except most people only read the very beginning of the announcement anyway. It would be like saying “I’m done reading any of the announcements from this person because they end with a Bible verse”
