.email TLD is around $25/year, which seems too expensive when .com is less than a half, but it would make it easier to explain why there is no website behind my domain (as I just want something for email).
But there’s also more expensive options, so I am curious what you’re paying.
I bought my first year from namecheap for $6 but now it’s a $70 renewal, I’m looking to transfer but prices elsewhere aren’t much better.

I just renewed on Namecheap for a .com domain and e-mail for 1 mailbox.
$67.12 for 2 years. Honestly just contact their customer service and discuss it with them. I did that last year and they dropped the cost down unaskedf for.
Cloudflare seems to have .wtf at $28.20/year (they sell at cost).
I will have to take a look. That’s a much better price.
