One reoccurring theme in Addams’ works, is mariticide. Which is quite the stark contrast to The Addams Family, where Morticia and Gomez love nothing more than their spouse.
I got a new Charles Addams book today, Black Maria. This has a lot of strips, both Addams Family, and otherwise I have never seen.
Oh, I didn’t see the feet sticking out from under the mattress on first look. I thought it was just talking about all the random things in the room. Nice! Subtle.

They’re looking through the house and they find a storage room. The fact that there’s a possibly dead body in there doesn’t seem to concern the person showing the house.
Oh okay they looked pretty concerned to me unless the artist just always draws horrified eyes no matter the situation
