I just repaired electric toothbrush. Again, for the third time (with different toothbrushes in my family, fuck Philips).
After two years of usage rubber button lost sealing. So replace it with screw furniture cap and seal ot with thermal-shrink tube (40/20 mm). Using only home hairdryer.




Ugh, mine fail3d in the same way. Keeps getting wet and shorting out. Seemed like a pretty stupid design choice. Planned obsolescence.
Yeah, definitely! My first shorted out too in the middle of the night! I spend 15 minutes trying to switch it off.
