I just repaired electric toothbrush. Again, for the third time (with different toothbrushes in my family, fuck Philips).
After two years of usage rubber button lost sealing. So replace it with screw furniture cap and seal ot with thermal-shrink tube (40/20 mm). Using only home hairdryer.

for toothbrushes, never buy the bougie expensive ones, anything over 40-50, means it using some form of electronics thats not easily fixed. at least for oral-b, you can buy off-brand “brands” cheaper, the cost is mainly the replacement heads, oral-b makes thier money off the heads and not the toothbrush itself.
you can just get off-brand replacement heads.
Ocean state job lot sells knockoff heads at like $1/head instead of $5 or whatever the fuck they try to charge
i buy replacement heads online, and i brought off-brand sonic there too. phillips is just op for any sonic toothbrush, thats why i dint it buy it. the secondary brand, is aquasonic, i i think are still kind pricey. oral -b is fine if you just buy the 1000-1500, and get the replacement heads online.
the ones i bought from (that are imported from germany) seems to last longer than the one in states(the heads)
