minus-squarepedz@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up1·8 days agoApt blew my mind. It was becoming increasingly difficult to install and maintain a lot of software on Slackware, just for my personal computer. So when a friend showed me Debian and apt, everything was suddenly much much easier.
I presume anyone old enough to start with slackware without auto dependency management and then use apt had a similar experience. I did :)
