    No, what means the person has anxiety is the overthinking of a mundane social situation to the point it tires the person out from doing so.

      Not necessarily. I think things through more than is necessary, like in a large crowd it is being very aware of a lot of things and actively thinking about small details that most people notice subconsciously. I’m not worried about what they think of me, it is just parsing a lot of information actively.

      Overthinking can be a sign of anxiety, but it is not a 100% correlation.

      I do get anxious when interacting with specific people I already know because they are terrible and I’m trying to avoid their specific brand of shittiness. In those cases I’m not even overthinking anything, just watching for signs they are going to dial it up.
