Thank you for sharing this story! Maybe it’s just me, maybe I’m being silly, but it’s somehow calming and it feels very valuable to hear about such “mundande” (?) aspects of people’s lives.

I kid you not, I too used the Gillette Mach 3, although the Turbo, for about 15 years before finally switching to my safety razor two years ago. Mach 3 was the only thing that ever worked for me, because my skin is very sensitive. Basically the same situation as you. I always envied my friends who seemed to be able to shave daily. I tried it a few times during the years, but every time it ended in a bloodbath on my face. No pain, just a lot of blood.
