I don’t know what it’s called in English, but it’s amazing. I shave with this everywhere except downstairs. I need apply NO pressure whatsoever thanks to its own weight and thanks to the sharpness of these Japanese blades. I love it. :3 ⚔️🎌

Edit: you obviously don’t have to present your equipment on your hands like a psychopath. 🤣

That’s absolutely a waste. Note that not all brands and models of blades are the same and it’s very possible that you get a better/smoother shave on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th shave on a blade.

I’ve gotten 8-10 out of Feather blades in the past. Although admittedly the last few were a bit rough.

Feathers are about 20-25 cents each, while my preferred Big Ben’s are about 8 cents. I’m happy to get 4 - 6 shaves out of a Big Ben. The thing about the Big Ben’s is that the last shave isn’t rough, it just more work to get a really close shave.

Never tried those. I’m going to be good on blades for a very long time but if I remember next time I buy them I’ll check them out.

There is so much variation between blade types that it’s really worthwhile trying out some sampler packs.
