Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Finally escaping Windows, ironically thanks to AIEnglish
8·1 day agoGot a buddy that has essentially the same story as you… he’s now running Linux as a primary and jellyfin + like 10 other containers in docker.
This time last year he was a Windows guy because he was scared of Linux.
Fast forward to ai being a thing and he’s all about it.
Ai has absolutely made it easier for folks to transition into Linux.
Hell I’ve been on it for like 20 years at this point and I still run into stuff I’ve not seen before. So I use it when ever I need to do so.
Handy.
My wife loves hocus pocus.
Every year I’m like… That zippo wouldn’t light. The fluid would have evaporated ages ago. Look at the cobwebs, it’s obviously been there for years.
She just reaches over, softly touches my and says 7u5k3n, it’s a movie.
Lol
So yeah there’s nothing wrong here.
Edit: softly touches my arm. Haha apparently I I accidentally’d a word
I just moved from v2 immich to v3.
Literally changed the version in my env file and then deleted all docker images.
I then pulled all images and brought all containers online.
0 issues.
Immich has been running really well for us on my n100 for 10 months now. I did dual Google photos and immich for a 3 months and then exported out from gphotos.
I started 2026 with immich only. Been rock solid the entire time.
Of course that’s all anecdotal and ymmv. But immich is fantastic
Yep. Could have But the virgin makes a show of lighting it.
It’s just one of those things in movies where it’s product placement and it needs to light. But it just bothers me. Lol
Inconsistencies in movies or shows do that to me. Happens.
