I remember it from the Inspector Gadget movie

Looks like this crossing needs a “crossing brick”. A brick pedestrians carry from one end to the other, with the implication that they get to deliver it though the windshield of any driver who doesn’t respect the crossing.

Excuse me, I ordered everything and you left out 99.999…% of it.

You see it as a boring plane. They see it as a giant flying billboard.
