Not exclusively, but there is more of it. Most reddits are represented here as well, but they may not be as active as reddit, because its much smaller. If something is missing, its up to you to create it, no one will do it for you :/

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Suggestion: Things you post are kept with you, even if it's deleted everywhereEnglish
2·2 days agoAt least according to the modlog, you haven’t had anything moderated today or the last few days. Did you post on a different account? Tampering with the modlog is pretty frowned upon, so admins generally don’t do it unless its something illegal, which also would have caught you a ban.
Your account has plenty of comments from the last day, how sure are you that something has been deleted?

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why does Android Auto require usb connection in some cars, even though the same car connects to other apps wirelessly (eg. Spotify)
8·5 days agoA number of reasons:
- uses a lot of data (car data plans are often pretty low)
- relatively slow compared to 5GHz
- coverage, you ideally want your navigation and music to keep playing even if you go out of range

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why does Android Auto require usb connection in some cars, even though the same car connects to other apps wirelessly (eg. Spotify)
40·5 days agoAndroid Auto uses 5GHz WiFi direct, so your headunit needs to support that. If your headunit only supports 2.4GHz, you’ll be a bit out of luck.
Spotify streaming may be okay with the 2.4GHz or even just plain Bluetooth.

2·7 days agoI think we are thinking of very different rivets, the ones on my pans are definitely not hammerable. Fortunately, the rivets haven’t come loose either, so not a problem yet.

2·7 days agoThe real rivets would need a press or something to install right? And you’d need to get food grade rivets, which is only going to drive up the price?

5·7 days agoCan I ask how you did it? I’ve used aluminium pans on gas and induction, never got it close to melting. The coating would have smelt awful long before it got close to melting.

6·7 days agoAs long as there is a layer of magnetic steel, it will work fine on induction.
I don’t think your gonna accidentally melt aluminium either, getting it up to 660c on a stovetop is a feat requiring a serious effort.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•I just used ddg to search for something and the first result was for a page that 404's, how is that possible?
1·14 days agoSearch engines work by building an index over all the sites on the internet. The index and the status of the sites aren’t linked, the search engine basically has a cached view of the site.
If the site goes down after it is indexed, DDG won’t know about it until the next index.
Got any more pixels?

1·2 years agoIf its that serious, dont take your phone (or any device). A nation state will have no trouble tracking you if you’re a worthy target.
You are asking in the wrong place. Your country will have a department of foreign affairs or similar, you should be speaking to them. They are the experts.

As others have said, you’ve messed up your language settings or something. Perhaps sort by new?
