LLMs like this are fundamentally different than cloud. We got kids no longer studying in school because AI does it for them. We are witnessing the construction of a panopticon. The Overton window is quickly shrinking and wealth is quickly concentrating to like 5 people.

It’s not an “old man doesn’t like change” situation, it’s philosophically a stupid idea to introduce a new species to the planet that has a higher intelligence than us.

I was around for that saga too, i’ve worked for an AI company, I know what i’m talking about.

AI tech professionals are quintessential “Didn’t Earn It” hires. I’ve got 15+ years of experience, i’ll be fine when the bubble pops, but the kids who rely on it to function, good luck lol.
