22 days agoIf they blatantly say “this is commentary on rampantly consumerism” then the commentary does not work. And either way, there is no bad press. Do people love it? Hate it? Doesn’t matter, they’re talking about it.

Valid, but there’s a difference between selling a pine box to rich fans with nothing better to spend their money on and having multiple bigoted public meltdowns while your music gets noticeably worse.
