31·2 days agoUse citric acid, won’t damage your machine and works much better.
Have been using citric acid as both a dishwasher rinse aid, and a fabric softener in the laundry machine. Highly recommended.
Vinegar will damage most machines. Use citric acid instead. 2 tablespoons to 100ml of water.
