That’s not an easy question to answer…It usually boils down to: What is easier for new users to adjust to, what is more customizable, what works on the latest or oldest hardware. I don’t think there is an objectively best distro out there, there is no one distro to rule them all. There is a bad one, don’t use Omarchy as it is a fascists distro. Fascists are investing a lot of energy, money, vibe-coded slopware, putting that on top of Arch Linux (which I hope doesn’t get a bad reputation due to DHH, the bastard). There are other easier to install and use distros like Mint, Fedora, openSUSE. These three that I have mentioned have a reasonable amount of documentation on them, and active communities to ask questions of if necessary!

If you absolutely must have Arch Linux and are prepared to learn: EndeavourOS, Garuda Linux, CachyOS (be prepared to fight a lot of little issues with that one) are the three main easier to install Arch Linux based distros. Better for more recent hardware because drivers are a bit more up to date. Arch Linux is a rolling release distro so be prepared for updates.

Then you have easier to run on older hardware like Debian is nice for that purpose, they don’t really update all that often with major releases.

If you are trying to enshittify on the Fediverse, you’ll probably be added to so many blocklists that nobody would even know your instance exists.

Just by reading this post, I would probably avoid your community like the plague. As bringing that mentality into the Fediverse is very cursed indeed. You should stay on mainstream and shitty social media in that case, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make money there.

I would probably say about 5 times a week, I also read spicy books as well! I am a big fan of jockstrap rippers and healthy portrayals of man on man action!
