LLMs don’t cure cancer. That’s the kind of AI everyone refers to these days. Not ML projects.

Some German bakeries have excessively stupid names for their products too, though. I always refuse to say the name but point to the product in question. The usual answer is “Oh, you want one of the [silly-gibberish-name-of-an-overpriced-thing-that-tastes-like-sawdust-anyways]” - I nod, and that’s a successful transaction done.

I might be an exception, but I do not enjoy using AI because I find the high possibility of hallucinations and misinformation quite repulsive. It’s eerie and uncanny working with it, and I actively avoid using it apart from some development assistance. (Apart from all the ethical and environmental issues which are off-putting too)
