5 days agoWhat’s crazy to me is that the barrier to entry is lower on the fediverse in my experience
I try to use the browser, it forces me to their app; I try to make an account, but I have to change my IP address several times and wait out attempt limits; I finally get an account working, and then it gets restricted and they wanna see my ID
Oh yeah that’s a good point! I tend not to interact with people who use mainstream social media so I forget how uncommon it is to not have those accounts already
