I feel your pain, and those Hart Audio cables recommended by @shaoiken@feddit.org look awesome.
I’m sure you’re aware of this, but I personally cannot abide braided headphone cables due to the fact that they prominently transfer grating noises when physically rubbing against objects to the ear pieces/cups.
This is less of a concern if you’re stationary/at home and becomes more prohibitive when mobile/active and rubbing against clothing.
