Discussing who “the better” guitarist is/was is about as pointless as championing a particular time zone. Being more or less skilled at the instrument (especially at the level of skill both posses(ed)) is largely irrelevant to the quality of the music they are able to make. In fact, one of the traps many virtuoso musicians fall in is to create demonstration pieces for their skill that are entirely bewildering or boring to the casual listener.

Gamers’ Nexus speculated on the ability to connect to the other SSIDs if memory serves, or did that ever get proven?

I’m not sure that’s how that happened. If memory serves, they were already working on xp at the time, but that started to slip the year 2000 deadline. So, in order to keep the OS revenue gravy train rolling, they quickly threw ME together to have something to release in the interim.

It’s funny how even Microsoft themselves seem to forget ME ever existed.
