If you say there will never be buses near you, I presume you don’t live in a city. If you did, I don’t see why the city creating a bus line there wouldn’t be possible.
For folks commuting from outside the city to inside, the best is a big car park outside the city next to a commuter train station. Make it frequent and reliable.


No cars is a bit too idealistic, but agree on ending the general dependency on them. Cars is not just speed, but also access. And car infractructure is the same as for buses, emergency vehicles, taxis etc. And I don’t think we should necessarily end those.
But yeah, I still chant for “no cars” as the idealistic general goal.
