I’m able to find moments of happiness. When I can’t…well, I’d rather not to open those floodgates (especially publicly). I also think some people simply have predispositions to negativity, which doesn’t mean that they’re doomed to always be that way, but that it requires more effort to override it.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Aural Sex: What celebrities have *voices* that turn you on?English
5·5 days agoBoring answer, but even as someone who loves good voices, celebrities just don’t turn me on at all. I can acknowledge when they have good looks or a nice voice but it doesn’t register as being sexy.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•I don't know if this question is relevant or if this is the right sub, but for those of u who still use physical music files, how do you organize your albums and playlists?English
1·2 months agoOn my mp3 player, I organize folder by artist and the files inside are named [Song Title] - [Album Name]. Playlists are named after genre or occasion (metal, pop, 80s, workout music, soul-crushing lyrics, etc.). My mp3 player has a shuffle option so having files labeled in alphabetical or numerical order isn’t important.

Many forms of exercise can be done for free: calisthenics, running, (depending where you live) swimming, hiking, (if you have a bike) cycling.
Creative processes like writing, drawing, there are free programs where you can make music (LMMS has a competition section where you can listen to songs people have made with it).
There are free introductory courses and tutorials for learning things like coding or language learning.
Technically not free, but already need to cook, so there are new recipes you can try on a budget.
Reading is of course free too.
