Edit: Airbnbs suck when they’re bought out by corporations. I’ve seen that a few times. Hotels are all owned by corporations. I try my luck more with airbnbs depending on where it is.

We asked and they said they would, then wouldn’t, multiple times. We were so annoyed at that point that we were going to annoy them back.

Who are you choosing? You have to do some research and never be the first one.

Hotels suck ass too. We stayed in a “luxury” hilton and it was shit. It looked nice at first, but then

• Everything was falling apart.
• You got a “complimentary” water bottle (like a kirkland style) if you were a member, but it was $2.50 (maybe even $3.50 which I think I would have remembered cuz it’s funny) if you weren’t.
• They charged you a $60 deposit in case you use that bottle of water or something? We got that back, but it was stupid that we had to check.
• We didn’t use the parking pass for 2 days and they refused to give that money back.

They’re only being a little nicer right now because they’re losing business. They’ll go back to huge shits if they get the market share back.

I struggle with Scottish, but I think that’s because they have a lot of slang mixed into the typical English words. If they took those out, I would hope I would get the rhythm. Japanese accents can sometimes be hard, but most of the time I have no issue. That might be a speed issue as well. I think exposure has a ton to do with it.

In June 2023, Patel filed a complaint that Stewartson was smearing him online by calling him a “blatantly incompetent chud” and a “Kremlin asset” who plotted to “overthrow the government” on January 6, 2021.

Initially, Stewartson didn’t respond to the lawsuit, which led to Patel winning a $250,000 default judgment in August 2025. Stewartson challenged the default judgment on the grounds that he had no meaningful ties to Nevada, where the case was filed, and declared that Patel was a “googly-eyed Kremlin bitch” and, again, a “chud.”

Stewartson celebrated the final order, which referenced his comment in a footnote. “I’d like to commend the judge for including ‘googly-eyed Kremlin bitch’ in his ruling,” Stewartson wrote on X Tuesday.
