Interesting. The photo made it look smaller than a traditional Explorer. More like a Kia — which made me curious. Hadn’t seen anything like that in the US and article says its euro-only so that would be why!

Perhaps Britain should roll out solar panel incentives and neighborhood battery backups? Some offshore wind might be useful right around now as well.

This is only going to get worse the longer that it’s ignored. Importing fossil fuels isn’t going to fix it. Heat is continually going up — more people will be adding air conditioning and stressing the grid.

I recommend getting one that doesn’t have a pfas/teflon coating on the basket. There are some with glass bottoms, but they don’t look as convenient as the drawer/basket type. Some drawer models have ceramic coatings.

Also, a convection toaster oven can work as an air fryer. These usually have an “air fryer” setting. Probably not as convenient as the drawer/basket models, but they have the advantage of being multipurpose.
