I would love to have smart glasses for subtitles when I’m travelling, measuring stuff, plant identification and other handy stuff, but I don’t trust any of the companies making them, and I don’t trust most people to not abuse them.
Seems like if it could do full XR maybe it could work via positioning without a camera, particularly at a distance where accuracy won’t matter so much (make it larger+closer). Mapping every billboard would be a community effort. Art selection, too… though I wouldn’t trust people to not put their own self-promotion up either.
I want a set of smart glasses with an AI function to replace billboards and other adverts in my vision with artworks. Without being a walking spy cam.
That might be possible with iprb source software, but you’d still be wearing creep glasses
