How is the Library situation in the UK?
A 3rd space without alcohol and monetary association would be better.
I don’t have a local because it simply costs too much to go to a pub regularly. There’s plenty of third places if you’ve got loads of disposable income.
If I want to go to the pub with my partner and have one drink its nearly £16.
What used to be a weekly visit has now become monthly at the most and usually not at all any more, we simply cannot afford it.
I saw a thing a few weeks back about people not buying rounds anymore. I can’t imagine why…
Kids aren’t alcoholics like the older generations. The rest is capitalism moving chairs on a sinking ship.
The pandemic probably also caused quite a few to go under.
It’s too expensive to be an alcoholic these days. The sin taxes did their job.
Clearly this is because of the Muslim invasion of the UK.
