3 days agoLove when politicians come out and say what they are, managers of the capitalist system, who basically never have to actually “govern” and instead just fiddle and poke around at the edges.
“The law is the law” is code for, “we have no intention of challenging a judicial decision with a political ruling, which we are perfectly capable of doing”.
It’s too expensive to be an alcoholic these days. The sin taxes did their job.
