I have tested as “color superior”. At my work, we had to match colorant of the product we were manufacturing. It requires a sign off from someone who can pass the color test. You line up little color samples in order from lightest to darkest, and I pass everytime.
except this one day. I was the only woman in the department, and you can imagine the shit Id hear on a daily basis. I had failed the test and I said, “ahh its probably cuz my cunt is bleeding, Im not feeling my best and I probably fucked it up” or somethinh like that, I forgot what I said exactly, but I got a chuckle from my coworkers however I worded it.
Later thay day HR called me in. I think the dork who admin. the test bitched I said that. When she told me, I laughed “do you know what I hear daily out there on the floor? Ive never complained once and I hear wild shit all the time”. I promised not to make the same comment and left the meeting laughing to myself
little bitch boys will talk all the shit, say aweful things, be misoginistic, bigoted, but they draw the line at “my cunt is bleeding”
fucking babies.
After all I’ve heard on factory floors that’s fucking hilarious
You can call him foreskin. Because he disappears when things get hard
He’s a blister: shows up when all the work is done.
C section?
Many living babies are cut directly out of living mothers every single day and it tends to work really great for everyone involved and I think that’s neat.
Humans are metal AF, occasionally, in a positive way.

If you’d like to learn more.
it’s an alternative to natural birth. the lady basically gets cut open by medical professionals to take the baby out. it’s actually routine in many places of america
Ohhh C section for Caesarean section, ok thx
My coworker got in trouble for using the word “circlejerk” in our AI Slack channel.
It is called brainstorming in corporate lingo.
In corporate (and many other) settings it’s likely to be a circlejerk, but brainstorming per se is not.
So we agree ! How can i turn this in a debatable offense ? XD
I wanted to point out that both the term and the activity of brainstorming exist outside corporate settings, and that I consider it a good thing, at least in principle.
It’s not (just) corporate lingo.
So, not fully disagreeing, but not agreeing either.
Lol, I agree on this too… Unbearable. XD
our AI Slack channel.

lol it’s to talk about new AI tools and just a bountiful smorgasboard of toxic positivity.
“I love having this tool vomit unintelligible garbage at people and making them figure out what I’m trying to say!”
“Me too! I wonder if I can offload everything in my life to the random token generator!”
“I’ve been using model 7.5 and can really feel the difference in quality between my garbled output! Whereas 7.4 felt awful and slow 7.5 feels like it knows me!”
Every damn AI channel.
What’s funny is that your parody is only barely an exaggeration.
“If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what. then, is an empty desk a sign of?”
-Albert EinsteinSometimes I rather enjoy working for boomers. My boss will just light up a cigarette in the shop, we rag on eachother constantly and joke about hanging ourselves from the rafters.
The genuinely good baby boomers are definitely a highlight to socialise people. Really good, appreciative folk who do they’re best.
That’s starting to happen with Gen X already. As you get older you give fewer shits.
Not the same younger generations are too damn sensitive. Not all but much higher rate.
The c-section baby line is pretty smooth have to admit
I thought it might be a bit scarring.
Actually a pencil that hasn’t done any work in flat. It’s only sharp from continuous use and sharpening.
Maybe that boss was right.
A pencil being sharpened isn’t the pencil doing work.
You only sharpen pencils doing work
You get a brand new, unsharpened pencil. You sharpen it. You’ve done no work with the pencil. You did work with a sharpener.
So that would be like training an employee and now he’s ready to work?
Exactly. And we don’t need those costs on our budget. Training is not included.
“Give me a tug and I’ll be sharp again.”
That’s another meeting with HR.
That’s not how pencils work
This is a very “well, acktually” response.
We all know what he meant.
It is, in a way that’s recognizable as a metaphor.
But it’s not. Pencils have to be resharpened when they’re used, so a sharp point doesn’t inherently mean it’s never been used for work.
But then you’d see the pencil being shorter, but adding that is too long for a quip.
Remind me of the classic: “There are two types of people on the world, those who can extrapolate from incomplete information.”
This isn’t a case of extrapolating from incomplete information. The premise of the comeback metaphor is fundamentally flawed.
I don’t know why so many people are downvoting this when you’re so clearly right. It’s a comeback that sounds superficially clever, but doesn’t stand up to any kind of analysis. If you keep using your pencil after you’ve blunted it instead of sharpening it again, you’re doing low quality work.
Look at you, dull but not smart either!
All metaphors do break down eventually.
But this one breaks down with very little scrutiny. A sharp point doesn’t mean it’s never been used.
Have you never worked because you woke up not feeling exhausted?
Got a better metaphor off the top of your head?
No, because of how tools work. The whole premise of the comeback is flawed.
A dull pencil definitely has though. Sharp pencil could be a worker but could be a total poser.
Not definitely. Every new, unused pencil I’ve ever seen in my life has been dull.
You wouldn’t fit in with that crowd, just take it at face value, chuckle and move on. It’s a very simple joke your making it complicated
Yeah; if they’re still in the box, they’ve not yet been sharpened.
The actual box that is being talked about isn’t the one you buy them in, it’s the one you store them in. A pencil case.
It’s like saying not the sharpest knife in the drawer, or tool in the shed.
Looking kinda dumb
