There are a diversity of voices in every community that is open to the public. I would say an even greater diversity in those spaces where people go when they’ve grown fed up with the closed, commercial platforms.

Sharkey is just miles ahead of Mastodon and I’m disappointed no one told me that before joining.
Neither have the user base of Twitter or Bluesky, which is essential for a social platform.
