    Yeah, I think it’s a case of balancing risk, as is the case with all things like this. A hole caused by a nail is easier to repair, but still an annoyance, especially if the lower risk means more people feel safe enough to take direct action in this way. I agree that a hole in the side wall is way more effective, but it’s definitely a riskier strategy
