Where is lawbreaking not just visible, but designed to be seen? Where is antisocial behaviour worn as a badge of honour? Where is pleasure gained directly from causing distress? And where is reckless endangerment often ignored by the police or treated with the mildest of punishments? The answer is on the roads.
I haven’t taken any side in the kindness debate, I am merely taking issue with the fact that you lack basic reading comprehension skills and you’re being an arsehole to other people about it.

Read that quote again. The scoldee is not the person who is triggered in that sentence. The scoldee imagines that that scolder is triggered.
