Well normally I just do a copy and clear out the torrent when it’s got a good enough ratio. But since I found myself retorrenting episodes that got corrupted, I figure I can keep the torrent around and just use the download as the source of truth, so I don’t have to dig around for it again
how will symlinks help with corruption?

Symlinks are awesome for that, sure :)
