for a small boat it’s really small. I could see traffickers putting 30 people on that. The boats themselves are one way and seen as disposable and the trend is for bigger boats. Unless there is a change in tactic or they can’t get the inflatibal tubes this doesn’t make sense anymore?
The best way to “stop the boats” is to allow asylum applications while not on British soil. So they can take a ferry or a plane. It’s a catch 22 if you are in France but want to get to the UK.
