Danny Tommo is a man of the people so we should leave him alone!

• Daniel Thomas went to a private school in Hampshire.
• He was charged with kidnapping to which he pleaded guilty.
• He is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon"s (aka Tommy Robinson) close associate and for a time his bodyguard.
• He"s been banned from France after his “protests” there.
• He’s traveled all over the country instigating various types of “protests”, showing he clearly has no full time job but is managing to fund himself or get money from somewhere.
• He’s a “born again Christian” which he sometimes shows on his live streams by kissing his cross on his necklace (this is true and was so fucking bizarre!).

His quotes after he went to Belfast:

So vandalising a plane is terrorism, but I’m guessing direct action that seeks to use fear to stop the actions of certain civilian groups isn’t?

When I hear about this stuff it stinks of gestures - “vice signalling” - rather than any genuine desire to do anything. He wants to look like a big man waving his knife around, so he waits until any risk of conflict is over, then whips out his tool and uses it ineffectually… but oh, by that point someone has got back in the boat, and he demonstrates he’s still willing to endanger them.

I bet his followers don’t see it like that though - bet they see this as brave, masculine and sending a message.

I saw a video where he was talking about this. He said something along the lines of “we headed back to shore and ran out of fuel then, um, you know.” Then switched topic and totally moved over that part.

I would find it hilarious if the RNLI had to tow their boat back to shore. But it shows how dumb these people are.

The noise of escaping air was audible, and Thomas shouted: “This is England. This is not France any more.”

Thomas had presumably recently updated his slogan.

I think at the very least a massive fine is in order. Which should be donated on his behalf to the RNLI.

Fascist terrorist

I have a few thoughts.

-For the small DIY boats that are a risk. This doesn’t look like one. It looked more like a professionaly built craft. Perhaps it’s stolen or bought on the cheep but traffickers don’t like cutting into there profits for safety or sustainability.

-it doesn’t look like anyone is on it other than someone in full rescue gear. There is something on the floor but it doesn’t even look like life jackets. Where are the migrants?

• for a small boat it’s really small. I could see traffickers putting 30 people on that. The boats themselves are one way and seen as disposable and the trend is for bigger boats. Unless there is a change in tactic or they can’t get the inflatibal tubes this doesn’t make sense anymore?

The best way to “stop the boats” is to allow asylum applications while not on British soil. So they can take a ferry or a plane. It’s a catch 22 if you are in France but want to get to the UK.
