10.000 dollars (10^4) which I doubt would be enough to cover most major problems
For someone who’s poor? $10k would solve a lot of problems. Poor people already know how to stretch a dollar. Having 10k of them to stretch could go a long way.
It’s crazy because I haven’t had $10,000 anything approaching since I was 19 years old and living with my parents. $10,000 is simultaneously an unobtainable amount of money for me as well as something that wouldn’t really improve my day to day life. I could either use the money to pay off a quarter of my student loans or use it to get a car that starts properly and doesn’t have a leaky roof.
